Dr. Scott Wilkins

Scott Wilkins is Senior Pastor of the Sunnycrest Baptist Church in Marion, Indiana. He is the featured speaker for the broadcast program, Connecting Lives, viewed weekly by thousands of television viewers. Sunnycrest is one of the leading churches annually in Indiana in baptisms, mission support, and ministry leadership. He is the author and designer\ of the REACH strategy. It was after much trial and error, and great frustration as a pastor, that Scott sensed the Lord’s leadership in the development of this effective evangelist strategy. Through the implementation of the REACH strategy, Sunnycrest is reaching its community through relational evangelism and random acts of hospitality and kindness.

Dr. Wilkins is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminar (M. Div., D. Min.) in Fort Worth, Texas. He has over 20 years of pastoral experience. He presently serves as Vice-President of the Pastor’s Conference for the Southern Baptist Convention. He has also held other offices in national, state, and local convention areas. He is married to his college sweetheart, Patty, and the two are blessed with three children; Hollie Beth, Hannah, and Jacob
